Brad and his little man.

Uncle Brad and the little man before the baptism.
 Staying entertained while waiting.
This is one of my favorites!

Brad loves his little nephew so much. Watching how gentle he is with the little guy, it fills me with pride! I know Bradley is going to be a fantastic father. :)

Back to WA already

I was SO sad to leave Texas. We were only there for so long but had such a great time. I hope I can see everyone again soon. I'm already looking forward to Hans coming back in two years! Time with family is loud, full of laughter and love and just heaven. I miss you guys! Thanks for flying us down there.

She loves stealing Hans's seat to watch TV. Hahaha.
I'm pretty sure she was eating a kit-kat here, but maybe her mouth was a little full. Haha.
Happy face. :)

She loves Otter Pops!
She moves so fast, it's amazing I ever got a clear picture of her.

Pinochle.

She saw Uncle Brad get his laptop over and was his best friend for the next 10 minutes.

Hilarious picture! Ian was over playing with Ava, and I looked at him and said, "I bet I could fit into your pants." And he was like, "There is no way. Your butt is 7 times bigger than mine." And Mom was like, "You guys should try it. I would die laughing!" So we switched! And what do you know, they fit! We could hardly breathe we were laughing so hard. There you have it folks. We can wear each others' pants.

Ava is Hans's best friend! Hahaha.
Grandma reading "Grandma and Me" to Ava. When Mom read "Grandma," Ava would turn around, point to Mom and say, "Da!" It was pretty dang cute.

My tied-for-first favorite person in the whole world.
Back to WA we go. Brad left his drivers' license at the Spokane airport, but when we called security they said he'd be okay to fly and to just come a couple hours early to get some "extra security clearance." We left earlier than we had wanted, and the extra security consisted of looking at his credit card, school IDs and looking at my license to make sure I was his wife. It took all of 2 minutes. Too bad we came too early and didn't get to stay an extra day!

Gorgeous sky!
Mt. Rainer made for a beautiful picture.
Dead tired at 10:30, waiting for our plane to board. We got home at midnight. We were zombies!

Last minute homework. :)
We miss Texas already.

Temple trip

The reason we came down to Texas was to go through the temple with Hans. He leaves for his mission to Ghana on October 19th. It was such a sweet experience! Seeing someone you love so much receive those blessings was worth the trip. Love you, Hanseeeeee. :)

The little missionary! Called to serve in the Ghana Kumasi mission.

The family. Now only missing two members to be complete! ;)

Sibling love. And dorky faces.

We forgot how hot it was in Texas. The shade offers no mercy! And how could I pass up that face?
Hahahaha.

We celebrated Ava's birthday today, too. It was like Christmas!
Grandma helping with the unwrapping.
Dad trying to figure hymns out on the xylophone. It didn't help that half of them were out of tune!

Happy 2nd, Ava!

She. Was. Adorable. I miss her already!
Playing Pinochle. Fun!
Ava playing with her Snow White legos.
It was such a fun day, and it went by so quickly!!

Texas, here we come!

Before Joseph and Amanda headed back home, they visited us with the twins! We were afraid the twins would be bored, but the nerf guns solved that problem, and we had a good time watching them shoot the place up. ;) After lunch at Wendy's, we were on our way to school and then the airport. Woohoo!

Love these little girls!
We are so excited to be down in Texas! It's great to see so much family recently!

On our way! To SLC.
We rocked this crossword puzzle! It was a lot of fun.
CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! When we saw the Cafe Rio, we nearly died. Cafe Rio! In the airport! The line was long, but it was worth the wait! How we've missed thee!
We shared a burrito. Mmmmmmm.

Gone too soon. :(
Texas-bound!
Brad making me laugh! He's telling me to get ready for the screaming child in front of us. Yikes.

A gorgeous sunset to send us on our way. Taken during the climb. Sorry stewards!
Hans & Mom came to pick us up at the airport! It was heavenly seeing them again!
